Müller 748 - Regina

Courtesy of Claire Sherwell. F. W. Müller No. 748 H in pink, type S, as catalogued by Manfred and Rita Koym. It has a wooden base 9.16" /23.5cm long with a domed/bentwood lid in light wood and is battery run, although it has a hand crank. The switch says AUS/EIN (on/off), no foot control needed. The upper body is made of cast zinc, the rear of the body is made of sheet steel. Oscillating hook. It has Regina on the arm of the machine and an M for Müller on the pillar. The Koyms note that this range was produced with seven different bases, different hand wheels, knobs and clamps.The Friedrich Wilhelm Müller company was founded in 1868 and the first toy machine produced by them was in 1888. This model was manufactured between 1965 and 1969.
